Group Leadership
Improve, Protect and Run are not standalone businesses with separate executives. They share group leadership, finance, technology and operating infrastructure.
Has led outsourced technology and professional services businesses for 25 years, including founding and selling an ITC company he ran for two decades. Nik offers a proven track record of execution, underpinned by deep IT and cybersecurity expertise, and communicates clear, actionable strategies that help organisations improve efficiency and reduce risk. He also holds governance experience as a former Non-Executive Director of Barwon Water Corporation and Barwon Asset Solutions, bringing broad industry and boardroom perspective to Axelo.
Warren leads operations across the Axelo platform — finance, technology and cyber delivery — ensuring consistent service quality and shared infrastructure across all three pillars.
Bill brings over 30 years of finance leadership across listed, private and professional services businesses, with deep expertise in financial governance, capital management and building scalable finance functions.
Board of Directors
Experienced ASX public company director and chairman, with board roles including NED at Hub24 (past), Chairman at Solvar (past), and NED at Vitrafy (present). Over 25 years as a corporate finance professional, Vaughan has led numerous transactions including IPOs, M&A transactions and strategic advisory roles — bringing deep public markets and governance experience to Axelo’s board.
Extensive experience building businesses from seed stage through to growth, including numerous successful exits across public and private markets. Stephen led early investments into NitroPDF (sold to Potentia) and Banxa.com (TSXv IPO), co-founded Care&Co Group and Indicia Labs, Inc, and seed funded Cointree.com, Jambopay.com, Charisuas.com, Xm2earth.com and Xm2.com. With a background spanning maths, physics, computer science and philosophy, Stephen brings both a technical and commercial lens to Axelo.
Cross-functional HR leader across talent attraction, talent management, training and compliance. Thilini has led employer branding (web content, career fairs, campaigns, social media), built selection and database processes, and run Internship and Management Trainee programmes. She designs and assesses competency-based Assessment Centres, covers satisfaction surveys and succession planning, leads training strategy, needs analysis, delivery and coaching, and owns ISO and BS7799 compliance and HR policy design.
